I first saw him in Chungking Express, and later in House of Flying Daggers. I went for the latter with a couple of girlfriends, who normally hate watching movies with subtitles but agreed that getting to look at him was worth the ticket price. I'm currently in the middle of watching Red Cliff, and he's still gorgeous despite the changed look. And he did a Jdrama costarring Kyoko Fukada- she's been one of my favourite actresses ever since Dolls, I have to see that .

His offscreen style is pretty awesome. And I like the short hair, it suits him- though to be honest, he's hot with long hair too.

Here's a link to a great English interview done by CNN, when he was promoting Perhaps Love, I love how he describes it as a "cute" lovestory. It's very interesting, he's so humble and thoughtful. I also like what he says about the way Asians are represented in Hollywood movies.
