thanks for the lovely photos runner - its a pity her work isn't very widely stocked as I 'd like to see it.

Thank you for posting the nice big pics, runner.

Technically I should like her stuff, but I find it a bit tiresome in its typical Belgian-ness. It's like every single thing she's made could have been in a Branquinho or Demeulemeester or Margiela collection at some point. Especially the things in this last bunch of pics. Then again, I would wear just about everything here.

it's about construction, intresting ideas, and feeling as oposed to obvious flashyness
I'm not particularly into gaudiness, but lordy- they're white shirts.

Very beautiful. Yes, droogist, I see a bit of Branqhuino as well, but somehow I don't mind. These aren't exactly copies.

I'm drawn to the knits with the little holes (MV 734 T and especially MV 730 T). I really like the look in MV 411 T. I like all of it, actually. I see nothing I dislike in this entire thread.

The more I look at this thread, the more I love this stuff. One of the major things for me is the fact that it still flatters the wearer, unlike a bunch of stuff in this style. No potato sacks anywear. All these images take me off into another world. Thanks to everyone who's contributed to this thread.

Beautiful stuff, I like her more than Margiela.
Her footwear is also astounding when seen closely.

I saw a shoe in lift etage and the heel seemed to be made of this twisted wood. Very cool.

Just had to bump this thread up to the top. I feel the need to look at it every few days. Any more pictures and/or comments would be wonderful. :flower:

does anyone know if Marjorie planns to distribute in any more places? I hope to be in Aix in June so will be keen to check it out......

helena, I believe they carry M.v.d.Heuvel at Gago in Aix (it's a very good store, they also carry all the heavy-hitters, i.e. Comme, Yamamoto, Dries, Prada and so on:( 20, rue Fabrot, tel. +33 (0)4 42 26 08 52

yes droogist I have been there a few times - last time I was there it was v. good. I liked it a lot - they have Marni too. There's also a very good store in Avignon (can't remember its name) which stocks a lot of those labels. These stores in French provincial towns are great!
