Subscription copy in hand... the masthead is neon pink, so the cover is even more of a visual riot in real life. It's 146 pgs, pretty standard for Tatler.
The tiny articles at the front include a look at private member's club Oswalds, a Sicilian prince and his Belorussian model girlfriend, eligible viscounts, the artist Egon Schiele, tiaras... then it's into the 10 pg cover story with Golda, followed by a look at the historical figure of Queen Charlotte, and the role that Tatler magazine played in gossip in the 18th century (the very first Tatler was published in 1709), plus interviews with more Bridgerton women - Nicola Coughlan and Claudia Jessie - and a look behind the scenes at the shooting of season two.
Then there's a 14 pg fashion editorial, LIGHTS, GLAMOUR, ACTION which mixes all of those concepts into a pretend film set of a period drama. If you've seen one Tatler editorial, you've seen them all - but this is trying to show a bit of wit.
The issue isn't over yet - there's an 6 pg interview with Rachel Johnson (sister of Boris) and a look at Brits attending America's elite colleges ("A Matter of Frat"). The Tatler Throwback is a look at the cover from a relaunch in 1901.
This issue has a definite theme that has been explored from many angles, and is dense with content for such a small issue.
