Penn Badgley defends Taylor

Penn Badgley, says that Taylor is totally misunderstood and simply acting her age!

“First of all, it’s not true [that Taylor doesn’t hang out with the rest of the cast],” the 23-year-old Easy A star star told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at In Touch Weekly’s post-VMAs party Sept. 12. “[My girlfriend Blake Lively] and I saw her the night she did Letterman, and we hung out with her in her hotel room. It was a very calm night – she wasn’t crazy partying or anything like that.

“Taylor’s a teenager, and teenagers go through what they’re going to go through,” he added. “It just so happens that she’s in the eye of the press, and I think that’s unfortunate, because everyone should be allowed to make their mistakes. I think it’s like, she’s 17. Give her time. She’s a really sweet girl, very smart, very talented. She’s just growing up.”

Penn is also supportive of Taylor’s future as a singer. “I saw her perform a year ago, but I haven’t seen her recently. She had a great presence [back then] and I think she’s very talented. She loves music, and as long as she’s doing what she loves, that’s something I respect.”

Anyway of course she's gotta wear extensions she got really short/bleached/burn hair on the early 2009 you cannot go and show a long big hair from just the nowhere...

Totally her natural beauty back in the GG first season was way nicer... now it seems she's looking the same way all the time with same make up / hair extensions... I think its like trying to hard to pull out an image... maybe shes someway pushed to fit into a concrete marketing gap... or trying to find out who the she is or want to be... who knows...
You gotta make mistakes at 17 thats true... as on everything time will tell...

I like the Galliano ad. I dont think its AMAZING, but she does look great, I wish we could see more of the outfit because it does look really nice! And it wouldve been nice to her in the red lipstick, i think she suits it. And how nice of Penn! I do agree that Taylor is blown up to be somebody shes not. You look at what people write about her what "she said" in articles, and then you listen to/watch her in an interview - its 2 different people. I adore her, personally.

Really? I think she sounds totally fake, unsympathetic and unappealing when she speaks. The impression I am getting is even worse than that from what is written. But I guess it's normal that people have different perceptions of others - and that's a good thing

If you can say one thing about Tim Gunn, it's that he's not afraid of being honest, which so many people in the public eye are. i kind of understand what Penn says, and it might be true, maybe she is indeed a nice girl in the inside, but its the attitude she has in front of the media all cocky and "it's rock and roll babe..." that annoys people so much.

Maybe she should just stop trying to much and be as she used to be... not leaving her music behind but mixing it with a more humble personality.

Omg, Penn and taylor are certainly NOT in the same category . Please, Penn is a grown-up nice guy, I have no idea why some people don't like him. Taylor acts like a spoiled stupid teenager, I don't see how Penn fits into that category .

On the galliano ad: very typical, but at least the raccoon eyes look a bit more sophisticated..
