Taylor Swift: AMAs 2009 Artist Of The Year!

Taylor Swift just keeps on grabbing the awards — even when she’s not there to accept them in person!

The 19-year-old musician nabbed FOUR out of six awards that she was nominated for at the 2009 American Music Awards including Artist of the Year, beating out the late Michael Jackson, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga and Eminem.

Taylor also snatched up awards for Adult Contemporary and Country Female Artist as well as Country Album.

She accepted two of her awards via satellite from London, where she was rehearsing for a show on Monday, and thanked her fans. “I will never be able to say how much I love you,” Taylor shared.

I met her before I went to her concert in the Radio 2 studios. Me and my friend waited outside for her and she called us in for pictures and autographs because she said she didn't want us around the paparazzi. She is seriously the nicest, most gorgeous person on the planet.
