Taylor Swift is AP’s Entertainer of the Year
Taylor Swift just keeps winning the hearts of America.
The 20-year-old musician was just announced as AP’s Entertainer of the Year earlier this morning. Taylor shared with AP about the honor, “I am so honored and so excited. This was so unexpected, and I could not be more grateful.”
Taylor also dished that she’s already to work on her third studio album, saying, “The second that I put out Fearless, the moment that album came out and I was done with it, I started writing for my next album. I love to plan 20 steps ahead of myself, and it’s really fun competition game that I play with myself, trying to top what I’ve done last. For this next record, that’s all that I’ve been thinking about, that’s all that my mind has been fixated on for the last year, and it’s all that I’m going to be thinking about for this next year.”
Taylor Swift's Next Job: Super Hero?by Lauren Metz Dec 22nd 2009 at 3:14PM
Leave a commentTaylor Swift might soon have some serious super powers. Moviefone reports that Taylor is in talks to star as Supergirl aka Kara Zor-El in the remake of the 1984 film 'Supergirl.'
The new version is currently titled 'Supergirl: The Love Story,' and an industry insider says, "Hollywood is short of female heroes and the time is right for a new Supergirl. A number of young stars are being mentioned for the title role in a Supergirl movie and possible TV spin-off and Taylor is top of that list. She has all the right elements to be a positive role model to young girls."
We agree that Taylor's definitely a positive influence, but the 20-year-old doesn't have an extensive acting past. Does she want to do more acting?
Taylor has played a murder victim on 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' and she has a small role in her upcoming first movie, 'Valentine's Day,' which will be released this February. You can also catch Taylor Lautner, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, and a bunch of other stars in the flick.
I feel like maybe it's obvious, but music I honestly don't know either, but they both seem to be in the business but I can't imagine that either hang out with similar crowds.
