That cover is hilarious! The first shot of her editorial would have made a much better cover. But seriously that smile is terrifying.

How so? She's incredibly popular with the teens and tweens who buy this magazine. You all need to realize that these magazines need to SELL.

I'm sure they'll have a white teen starlet on their August cover so that they don't too deeply offend their readers delicate sensibilities.

I don't particularly think she's a fantastic role model for teens which is why I'd personally question the fact she's covering the magazine more than the fact she'll sell? Will she even sell? Do her covers sell?

I'm not even a Nicki Minaj fan, but am I the only one who doesn't see anything wrong with this cover? It's just Nicki Smiling.

It's an ok cover. It's not great, but not bad either.

I love this cover.

I don't think its about race, its more of her image. We all know that many of those proper starlets do nasty things behind the scene but her public persona is not teen friendly, its like putting Madonna or Rihanna on teen vogue
