I don't think its about race, its more of her image. We all know that many of those proper starlets do nasty things behind the scene but her public persona is not teen friendly, its like putting Madonna or Rihanna on teen vogue

Rihanna make more sense on Teen Vogue than Nicki Minaj does, at this point.

How so? She's incredibly popular with the teens and tweens who buy this magazine. You all need to realize that these magazines need to SELL.

I'm sure they'll have a white teen starlet on their August cover so that they don't too deeply offend their readers delicate sensibilities.

I love this cover.

this isnt about race at all she shouldnt be encouraged to be a role model for any of the girls subscribing to this magazine. What about her is reads teen besides her make-up and bad wardrobe? Her attitude sucks and nothing about her is real. Jayden Smith could have easily been on the cover

I don't have a problem with her being on the cover, she obviously has a large following, and like a lot of celebrities with large fan bases her fans will most likely buy this regardless of whether their teenagers or not.

What I do have a problem with is the cover image: who in their right mind would approve that image for a cover??!!

I absolutely love this cover, there is so much energy and Nicki looks gorgeous. There is a little bit too much Photoshop and the lighting is extremely harsh but I think it will stand out on the newsstand.

Mane Event is really simple but it is gorgeous, maybe thats just because Kelly Gale is there but either way it is still very nice.
