She is amazing, the cover... not so much.

Ok sooo: unknown girl, bad cheeks' photoshop job, way too much text, overpowering "sunny style" tagline and cheap looking editorial... hum I guess everything has been said. Next!

Wow the cover is like, have some face with all that text.

I think that it is a nice cover in and of itself, but I don't know if her face is strong enough or recognizable enough to stand out at the newsstand, which may actually explain the text overload.

I like the ed, it is cute and cheerful. Jennifer seems like a good model, because even though her look is not the strongest, she seems relaxed, I am particularly impressed that three of her images are with animals.

I like Demarchelier's photography but I wish that the styling was a bit jazzier.

Jennifer Lawrence now has a spot on my, "I'd like to see more" list.

She's an actress who was nominated for Best Actress this year or the movie Winter's Bone and now she's starring in the new X-Men movie, or whatever.

Not exactly an "unknown"

She's a much better actress than your typicall Teen Vogue faces of Twilight or Hannah Montana.

Not at all. Like blueorchid said, she's not a nobody and is getting to be quite famous in the states. She just got an Oscar nomination (which, having seen her film, she TOTALLY deserved), is in "X-Men: First Class", a movie with Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson called "The Beaver", and a film called "Like Crazy" that looks destined to be an indie hit.

And then, of course, there was the highly publicized casting of her in the lead and incredibly sought-after role in the upcoming "Hunger Games" adaptation. So yeah, hardly an unknown.

From what is written above it justifies her not as an unknown, but I honestly have no idea who she is lol.

I wish Teen Vogue could use models once in a while. I think they should give any of the younger VS angels a cover, like Candice, Erin, Lily, Behati, even Miranda possibly.
