oh man i Just found this thread and want to do it as well, but I cant find the url!
Andy we'd love to know what's happened or anyone who does know plleeasee tell
Sorry about that, the last upgrade must have wiped that link away. I have added it back.
If you look on your own profile you will find the link you need to use. It has your member number at the end. You can also link to any other page by adding the ?referrerid=(ID#) to the end of any link.
So if you want to post a link to your blog about a discussion on tFS just add your referral info to the end of the url. Remember that you should always try to use good keywords for as the text for your link. In this example, you should use link text of John Galliano 2006 if you want to post to this link:
Here is what it should look like...
John Galliano 2006
(if you hover over the above link you will find that it has the referral ID and links to the same discussion as the plain link above. By using the keywords in the link text the search spiders will know more what the link means and that leads to better results in the search engines...)
It is also great if you will post links on your MySpace pages, Blogs, Xangna and other profiles that you have around the web. The more we all link back to tFS the better as these links are really important over time!!!
"Upgrades"have a funny tendancy to cause problems don't they?
Thanks for clearing this up
An updated list of referrers (word?), maybe?
I've got 17 now... how about that?
How do I find out how many refferals I've got?
