anyway, i'm not waiting for givenchy. it's obvious it's not gonna be posted on style.com and i've done my best to recognise all the models and have asked numerous questions in the givenchy thread.

Runway: SS06 RTW and Couture (Armani Prive, Chanel, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Elie Saab, Givenchy, JPG, Valentino)
Campaigns: FW05
Magazines: Sept – Jan

This month saw the removal of August magazine points and the addition of January magazine points and couture points. There is no change in the top 2 with Gemma and Lily Donaldson firmly clinging to their spots. Despite having a ***** of her points come off (remember Gemma had Vogue UK cover and eds for August), Gemma still has a formidable lead of more than 100 points over Lily D.

A surprise #3 is Solange. The Brazilian was rewarded by a strong showing at the recent couture shows and through the help of single girl editorials (e.g. Vogue US Jan), knocking out Julia Stegner from the 3rd spot by just 6 points. Doutzen, no doubt, is another girl on the rise with editorial and couture points. Sasha jumped 2 spots thanks to very timely Vogue Italia cover and editorial with Snejana.

There is definitely no denying Hana Soukupova’s presence at the couture shows in Paris. She walked every major show, even opened and closed the show at Elie Saab and despite only jumping 1 spot, she gained a remarkable 20 points!!

Girls like Jeisa, Iselin and Marina Perez continue to climb up the rankings with their magazine work, while girls including Raquel Z and Natasha P continue to impress with their catwalk schedule. However, girls such as Daria and Anja seemed to be a bit dull this month without any additional points, which of course was noted in their drops down the rankings.

The new addition this month is Elise Crombez. Elise was helped by her surprise Vogue UK cover and lovely editorial this month to #14 . With new additions, there must be someone who is booted from the ranks and this time it is Hye Park and Lisa Cant. The 25th spot was very close with Querelle and Heather Marks being separated by 1 point. If Heather had made it, she would be another new addition to the ranks.

Next month will be extremely interesting as Gemma’s September magazine points come off and that is a Gargantuan 85 points!! We’ll have to see how she does in February to make up for these points and if Lily D can pile on enough points to topple Gemma from her throne! Also, next month will be when the FW05 campaign points come off and that will definitely cause massive changes to the ranks as SS06 points are added! Stayed tuned!

Great job. My fave (Doutzen) has moved 4 ranks!!! :P

Mariacarla only rose one spot? Wow, that's surprising -- but I trust your calculations  :flower:

And I forgot to source my Solange pictures! They were from Style.com XD;

^looking back at mariacarla's pts, she isn't really up high in the ranks to start with because she doesn't have much runway (rtw i mean) and ad pts. also, in the last few months, she couldn't really move up much because in the last 5 months (Sept to Jan), she's only got one magazine cover and one editorial (remember Feb pts ain't in it) and magazine pts are the ones that really change the ranks in between the shows.

of course, next month she'll go up because of Feb Vogue Paris pts and pts for her massive 6 campaigns!

^(adding to that)
remember that other models have gone up and elise has joined the ranks.

Hi everyone!! Shows have started and I thought I'd give an indication of who's topping the list "show-wise" with the shows so far (remember only top35 and priority are counted:( BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs (priority).
*denotes opening/closing of show, which is double the pts

1.
Daria Werbowy – 8pts (Carolina Herrera*, Oscar de la Renta*, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Marc Jacobs)

2. (all tied)
Freja Erichsen – 7pts (BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Marc by Marc Jacobs*, Narciso Rodriguez, Marc Jacobs)

Irina Lazareanu – 7pts (BCBG Max Azria*, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs*)

Lily Donaldson – 7pts (BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs)

Snejana Onopka – 7pts (BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs)

I think Hilary is going to be up there when the new list is put up.. she's walked quite a few shows.. so far on the priority list Oscar De La Renta, Marc by MJ, Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez

yeah i think she will because for SS06 RTW shows, she only has 11 points. now she already has 6 pts and it's only the first week! oh and you missed Carolina Herrera :flower:

Runway Pts After Today's Shows
Anna Sui, BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs (priority)
1.
Daria Werbowy – 11pts (Carolina Herrera*, Oscar de la Renta*, Michael Kors*, Anna Sui, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Marc Jacobs)

2.
Snejana Onopka – 9pts (Anna Sui, BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs)

Lily Donaldson – 9pts (Anna Sui, BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs)

Irina Lazareanu – 9pts (Anna Sui, BCBG Max Azria*, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs*)

Well I think I can rightly say that at this point Daria has been the standout model of the important New York shows. She has walked every important show and opened 3 of them. There are several models on 8 pts and some on 7pts (of course there are many more on lower pts hehe) but the ones on the higher pts have all pretty much walked the same shows and I think this is the time that opening/closing shows really count in demonstrating who's really at the top of their game.

A special case this season is Irina L, who has only 5 important shows to her name but already has 9 pts, while others like Lily D and Snejana have walked 8 shows and still have the same pts. I think if she keeps going this way, Irina will definitely make it high in the ranks.

I don't think Bill Blass is one of the shows fleur counts in the current points system

^yeah that's right. thanks Faith Akiyama! i'm sorry eword, i should have made it clearer before. yeah Bill Blass is not in the top35 rtw shows. but thanks for telling me! i havent' seen the Bill Blass collection yet and it's great to know that she opened!! :flower:

oh, okay, thanks for explaining. i didn't understand the 35 thing. :flower:

^the top35 rtw shows are pretty much the "big" runway shows and a model walking these shows would demonstrate her "importance". likewise the Priority shows are the "extra big" ones.

Hi everyone! It's been a while cos TFS went down and I've been busy with school work lol. but without further ado, here's the points so far after NY FW06:

(note: i thought that to save me typing all of it out for every model, i'll type a list of all the fw 06 top 35 and priority shows shown so far and just type the shows the model did NOT do and the shows they opened/closed)

List:
Anna Sui, Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld Collection, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez, Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Zac Posen, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs

18pts
Freja Erichsen
Opened/Closed: Karl Lagerfeld Collection, Marc by Marc
Not At: Anna Sui, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren

Tied on 17pts
Daria Werbowy
Opened/Closed: Carolina Herrera, Karl Lagerfeld Collection, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta
Not At: Max Azria, Donna Karan, Vera Wang, Zac Posen

Lily Donaldson
Opened/Closed: Zac Posen
Not At: Vera Wang

Sasha Pivovarova
Opened/Closed: Max Azria, Donna Karan
Not At: Oscar de la Renta

Caroline Trentini is on 16 pts and Snejana Onopka is on 15. Then there is a little teeny weeny bit of a gap.
