From Cartagena, Colombia, Bob Wolfenson is shooting the campaign that will launch the first collection of Daslu created in partnership with Riachuelo. The line is scheduled to hit stores on Nov. 22.
The campaign will feature models Marcélia Freesz, Thairine Garcia, Alícia Kuczman and Luana Teifke.

She should have waited a while before breaking into the international market. She was stunning as a redhead, and the icy blonde look makes her look washed out in some instances. Not a good thing, since she has yet to really form an impression on the international scene. Also, I read somewhere that the girls usually only have one shot to be a "fresh face", and it feels like her time came and went, and she didn't book that many shows. I feel like it's the Alicia Kuczman scenario again where there's hype but nothing comes off it.

Also, I read somewhere that the girls usually only have one shot to be a "fresh face", and it feels like her time came and went, and she didn't book that many shows.

In fact, to date, she has done more shows than she should have done for a girl of 14. Thairine was born on December 9, 1997; which means that this year she'll just turn 15 and will still have to wait another year to be able to walk shows without legal problems. The fact that she has walked just 8 shows (which include major fashion houses worldwide) over her short career, only confirms the high demand that this girl has in the industry. Also, not to mention her remarkable print work to date, her career is still quite active, so far she has continued to receive contracts without stopping: 7 campaigns in a row this season in Brazil, and now the pictures of the making of Daslu + Riachuelo confirm that she is going for the eighth one:
