it looks like a collection
as opposed to a bunch of clothes that are thrown together in a show
i also like the fact that he did not have five or six different shoes

I adore Thakoon, but I'm not quite understanding the highlighter yellow pieces. Overall, it's nice, but kind of boring. I dunno, maybe I was expecting more from him.

*heart* really very pretty.

the entire presentation with music, makeup, dresses, was dramatic and had an almost haunting quality.

a very wearable collection that is looking better to me with each additional fashion show.

This really has a little Rochas touch. I'd love to get the top to wear with my Rochas skirt. The little flowers/bows on shoulders look like those knots from his past spring collection...maybe even his signature details?

the colour scheme,
the canary yellow and the dusty shades are all theyskens signatures
which is not necessarily a bad thing
i would'nt really say he is copying
because he has done this in is own way.
it is probably one of , if not the best collection of the week i have seen so far................

Just looked through the whole collection at Style.com. I love the highlighter yellow. I'm not sure if it would really work with my skin tone, but I like it on the runway. I would wear this.

Glad to see that other people see the Rochas connection! There were a few dresses in particular that just screamed Rochas.

After looking @ style.com, I'm much more impressed. It's much nicer than I first thought. So pretty, and yes zamb, it is one of the best so far this week!

even his last collection had a little Theyskens touch there. Those dress and skirt with knots and very light weight cotton in white/pale pink really had the Olivier character there. I think that it's because both men probably have similar soft side or personalities and it shows in their collections.
Although I have to admit that Olivier experiments more with fabric. And so his clothes look more grown up in general.

No ... Rochas under Theyskens is mostly dresses and here I see a lot of lovely tops .. these can be casual and dressed down opposite most of Rochas ... I really like it as well the palette -bold colors!-
