She does look like she is expecting. The top half of that dress is awful, it truly is. I hate to say it, but Thandie is turning up at any and every event and that has been going on for over a year now. She seems really desperate to get herself out there.

And really, I am not trying to be mean, but it smacks of desperation. She is really trying to raise her profile here in America and also in England. I remember reading how she kept hanging around a party in London, hoping the editor of fashion mag would notice her. I have to say it is working, because Thandie is getting more roles now, but honestly, it smacks of famewhoreness, and I would like to think Thandie is better than that.

I think she's just trying to keep her face out there. If you look at her film credits, she really hasn't been working that much at all. I don't get a famewhore vibe from her at all.

Lately, she has been doing a ton of filmwork-there was pursuit of happyness, norbit, run fatboy run, rocknrolla, now this flick directed by ralph fiennes sister. By the way, when will run fat boy be released in the US?

I don't think supporting roles in two films a year is a lot of work but I guess it's better than many other actresses, especially women of color. "Norbit" wasn't exactly Oscar material and I didn't even know she was in "Pursuit of Happyness" until I rented it.

If she's working a lot right now then that probably explains her current level of visibility.

Personally, I'd rather see her on the red carpet than the 5 or 10 faces that are usually plastered all over magazines.

Marla, no doubt, I agree, but I just think Thandie could dial it back a bit. I think Thandie is the most successful Black British there is and I would love to see her get more famous because of her work and get more high profile roles. For a black actress, she has beaten the odds.

(fabsugar.com) - Is Kate Moss sliding from the graces of fashion? British Harper's Bazaar seems to think so.

The magazine, which releases its best dressed women in Britain 2007 list tomorrow, placed Moss in 10th place this year, even though she topped the list in 2004, came second in 2005, and was third in 2006.

Russian model Natalia Vodianova was named best-dressed woman of 2007, followed by British actress Thandie Newton and British model Agyness Deyn, who has been crowned "the new Kate Moss" by the British press.

Meanwhile, British actresses Sienna Miller (18th), Keira Knightley (21st), Rachel Weisz (22nd), Kate Winslet (23rd) and Emma Watson (24th) did not make the top ten. Do you think Natalia deserves the number one spot?!

Oh man that little girl is a perfect combination of both worlds.B) I agree with everyone else, she totally look like her mom. The older one has begun growing into her own look but I still see Thandie's features.
