how to achieve that body sheen? what products do i use? ive read some threads that say i can use bronzing lotion, but im not exactly looking for a tanned look.. just a radiant/glowing kind of thing.

any help? thanks.

At first, i'd say photoshop XD

I know some people who exfoliate gently, then add some moonbeam (illuminator) and a few bronzing balls to their moisturiser, and add it all over.

Especially after exercise because the blood is flowing and you look more radiant anyway.

I always wanted to know this too, but I don't particularly want to use a product that might get all over my clothes.
I guess the best place to start is having a good base: exfoliate regularly (I recommend Ren Guerande Salt Exfoliating Body Balm), use a good moisturizer, drink lots of water...any other ideas?

Scott Barnes has some spray called Body Bling that gives that effect... there's also a face spray that can be applied after makeup to give a dewy look

Do keep in mind though, that for that picture she is most likely slathered up with all sorts of body oils, and afterwards retouched in Photoshop. It isn't a very practical effect to get, not to that extent anyway.

I also think its very hard to get unless you have olive/tan skin.

Rihanna really rocks this in the SOS video.

I have seen it on pale girls though. Often celebs at premieres will have glitter on their shoulders, etc. but it's not as obvious unless it's an HD photo.

^^^the look is perfected in that video.. her skin looks good enough to eat...

I know! Major jealousy over here!

My skin shines but i don't use any products...i don't mean like Rihanna's,of course:lol:

for the face, it's quite easy. Magic by prescriptives works VERY well. I'm sure they could be applied to the body as well, but i still use the test tube i got two years ago as a little bit goes a long way. I also think if you mixed some loose gold eyeshadow with moisturizer. or moisturized and then rubbed it in with the moisturizer. Or even maybe oil with gold eyeshadow. just random thoughts.

I read in a recent issue of Health magazine that Nivea's Body Silky Shimmer lotion is wonderful for creating this effect :flower:

im using the natural source's body bronze lotion... i applied abit but when i look into the mirror i cant see anything lol. maybe im supposed to SLATHER all over my body?? like, use lots and lotsa of it??? hmm.

on antm didnt they have a product they always used?i cant remember what it was called though so im pretty useless

I love Jergins body shimmer and it smells so yummy too. I have friends that swear by body bling from scott barnes but i think its to disco looking and not as moisterizing.

I use Jergens' shimmer lotion... the only complaint is that my boyfriend gets mad when I get it on the leather in his car... so be careful where you sit, and what you wear (no white...).

people always tell me i'm glowy all over, i exfolliate with a sugar scrub 2x a week, use a shower loofa with a humectant soap 2x a day, and moisturize with rich emollient ingredients like jojoba oil or shea butter, its all about emollients and humectants that soak in and leave a non-greasy protective layer, i'm black so some people equate it with skintone but any girl who is diligent about bodycare can look glowier
