I LOOOOOOOVE The giant traveller! That is exactly what I need! My "needs" (I need a brief GH can't decide the color and I need something in acquamarine, vert gazon, thought I needed marine but could need natural), are going to run me bankrupt!

What is everyone's opinon for the Brief, what is your favorite color in this model? They all look fantastic to me, which is why I still dont have one!

For the acquamarine I am thinking a city, again, this is all what I decide at home, go to see them in rea person and then am completely confused again! The bf is no help whatsoever! None at all.

The clutch is rather pricey.. It's nice, but pricey.. I would rather get a Marni or two.

It definitely is pricey, it's almost a whole bag, like a day bag or something. I added it to my list which has three other Bbags on it, something has to get crossed off, and I am thinking its the clutch, even though I think its great.

I saw an anthracite GH brief today next to a marine GH brief, the lighting was so horrible I couldnt tell what was what. I am interested in the anthracite but cant seem to figure out what is looks like colorwise in normal light? Trying to decide on a brief color.

Does the work's handles fit on the shoulder, of say a normal weight person not super skinny? I also want an acquamarine but cant decide city or something else. I am sure its going to be a city though, GH or not?

the giant traveler is $865 and comes in white, black, sandstone, anthracite and aquamarine...
i saw the aquamarine at NM SF and it's gorgeous...
it is quite big, i think it measures 8.5 x 11"

It is the magenta City being redone. Only 200 of them. It can be in regular hardware, just like the one from 2005 or in the Giant gold or SILVER. The price is the same as the regular bags, no extra charge for this limited edition.

$1595 for giant hardware and $1195 for regular hardware...
they take your cc info and you aren't charged until may 16...
bags ship in mid-august...

I don't get it, why are they redoing a color and calling it a special edition? They practically recycle every color every few seasons anway. Sounds to me like hype for extra crap laying around the factory...

OH and of all the colors to redo, why would it be magenta? I don't remember that selling that well or anyone dying for one when it was out originally...

kimair, thats very intresting! I really love the magenta, I have a work. I wonder if they'll re do a color a season as limited editions from now on. Hope they start doing them in the work too!

I love the magenta as well but am concerned about how the new '07 "special edition" leather will compare to the spring/summer '05 leather (original magenta) which was just lovely. IMO even the better leather specimens from the fall '06/ss '07 pile still pale in comparison to the old balenciaga leather (circa '05, '04, earlier). So I wonder if the '07 "special edition" magenta is going to be the new/current leather, or make a *real* comeback in the form of the old TDF leather.

BTW I'd die if they could re-release the ss '05 Turquoise in the OLD leather.....my dream bag!

Magenta was the first season that the leather started going downhill IMO, I actually think this summers leather is better.

I would also love if they re released ss05 turq and the apple green too. I have them in the classique and city but would really love a larger size. I've worn the classique about 4 times, such a pretty color but so so small

yea i've gotta agree with guessgirl...this year's leather is much nicer than the last few years...

and i'm pretty sure it's this year's leather with the 05 magenta...
it is interesting they chose this color to re-release...
whenever i see magenta bags on ebay, they tend to sell for alot...

what is everyones opinion of the GH on the magenta? I am still confused about the GH hardware. I like it on the brief but dont know what to think of it on other models. I saw a vert gazon day with Gh, that was great too. I am thinking a acquamarine city (or work), am leaning to no GH, but cant decide. Any thoughts?
