Can't argue with Helmut, but Vuitton and V&R?
Comme des Garcons
.. had the best reviews from critics, I think these are the best collections in Paris.
However jaded they are whosoever wrote this would be in the same boat.
None of them, really had that strong of collections this season. McQueen had the best presentation of all listed, but the clothes on the other hand weren't extraordinary enough to be given such an honour as best of the season. Viktor & Rolf should have been given the St. John by Marie Gray spotlight for the dullest, most plain collection of the season.
No Comme des Garcons,Junya Watanabe,A.F. Vandevorst or Haider Ackermann. Tim Van Steenbergen should have at least been given best newcomer/emerging talent of the season.
I agree compleately predictable and boring
i seriously did not liked the LV collection and even though there was some new mood there, i still find Chanel predictable and too boring, but V&R, McQueen & Helmut Lang did a real good job.
thanks for the article Astrid
