Cara Delevingne's just been unveiled as the face of Dior's 'Capture' range, replacing Eva Herzigova!

Wait, what?? I'm guessing her dealings with Karl is now officially over. Odd to jump ships from Chanel to Dior. The money must've been right, or perhaps something else went down.....

Isn't the Capture range aimed at older women, or at least those fighting ageing? I don't think she makes much sense for this line. To make matters worse, she looks like a robot in the teaser.

This is so weird. She has been the face of Chanel for so long...
It is almost quite passé to use her as a "fresh" or "youth" oriented face for any brand.

I don't mind her leaving Chanel actually (if that's the case). Dior is so bad that i don't feel bad for anyone joining them.

If she has a similar contract to Bella, she can be the face of other brands but i hope Karl replaced her already.

That's my question also, it's just weird. And the pic isn't doing anything for me. To me she looks like a Ruth Bell wannabe.

I saw that coming from miles when she was attending a Dior Event , I think I post about it in her thread earlier that they try to get hand on her , thats why also they pushed that much Adwoa just to get close to Cara...

Wondering if her Rimmel contract is done ?

This is just laughable. There are so many fish in the sea why would you go after one already used by Chanel. The thirst is real and there is no originality at all. When you think about it the Dior women are so different that they have nothing in common at all. While the Chanel women always have rebellious sensibility whether through the way she dresses or the way she carried herself.

I get that they needed a few face, but why her?? She always complaining about how much she hates modeling and yet she's still getting these big gigs. Go away, Cara.

Yikes. First you replace a perfect testimonial like Eva, who is such an elegant, glamorous woman who was such a good choice to sell that product. But you replace it with Cara? Seriously? She's been the face of Chanel for so long.. and she's not hot anymore in modelling. I mean if you want to go for someone new, young and popular on instagram, at least choose someone who is very relevant now and who can leave an impression for DIOR not because she used to be th face of the other French big designer.
Since Maria's arrival, it seems to me that they have been trying to make Dior cool, youthful but it's such a terrible idea, Dior is a timeless brand, you can reinvent it but you must always consider its identity.

So true! Marion, Charlize, and I suppose to a certain extent Natalie all had that graceful, sophisticated and classic air to them which I think worked for Dior. I actually think they're trying to copy Chanel with these three gamines (Ruth, Adwoah, and now Cara), but the Chanel woman is ageless while they seem to be going exclusively youth-oriented.

First they poached Peter Philips from Chanel and it seems like they are going after Karl's muses now.

^ They also snatched Diane Kruger from Chanel who started attending Dior shows exclusively for more than a year now. I wouldn't be surprised to see her in a campaign for something soon.

Oh yes I forgot about Diane Kruger ...
Dior these days is terrible

If I'm not wrong I think the next model the are trying to get hands on is Winnie Harlow she attented a bunch of Dior events and even got an ed for Dior Make Up is french Elle or Glamour I can't remember the magazine so I wouldn't be suprise
