I find it very coincidental that the people on the show raving over Whitney's line all have ties to Whitney/MTV. Teen Vogue- Whitney's internship was filmed for MTV, WWD- -Whitney did summer internships with them in the past, Elle-- contract with MTV.They are creating the false impression that everyone but Olivia LOVES Whitneys' line.

i think the main focus was to show that even though they worked together and were friends Olivia was NOT gonna support Whitney.
before she even saw the line at the showroom she told Roxy and Erin she was not going

So frustrating. But I received a tweet stating the new series starts MTV Uk 3oth May 2010 (sunday)this was from Whitney so it must be true

Olivia was front row at Whitney's fashion show during NY fashion week along with Erin. She had seen enough of the collection to know whether she liked it or not. In light of the negative comments Whitney made to various publications about Olivia she most definitely was not friends with Whitney on or off the show.

I think reality is mixing with the fakeness of the show. Olivia does not want to participate in the fake promotion of Whitney's line on camera because she does not like Whitney or her clothes-- with good reason. She's refusing to play along and as a result is being villainized.

Even though Olivia may have a few things to learn in regards to being professional and polite, are we missing the main point here? Olivia is bang on the money - Whitney's line does, unfortunately, suck big fat eggs.

I can't stop feeling irritated that Whitneys line is getting the exposure that's been shown on The City. There's nothing to it, its just there. I agree with Loladonna, it really is all about connections; Teen Vogue, Bergdorf Goodman etc

Also, if the Elle team were so into her line, they could have featured her in the magazine, however small the feature or on the main site, yet she's been featured on a bottom of the barrell thing that no one cares about! Ridiculous

Also, the whole Olivia not showing up thing; if she was interviewing other people, she would've needed to sort out the cameraman etc to be there and she had it vetted/ whatever it was with that woman at Elle; the way it seems on the show is that she randomly took off when you could see it had been pre-planned, therefore, why would Erin etc arrange for a clash when it's her job to sort things like that out? Most probably for the drama factor
