The City

I think they are on and off, poor whit she needs to stay away from him.

But wasn't Whitney supposedly dating some actor guy now..?

i was in ny doing some work, and I was at teen.com tv offices and jay and pottsy of tamarama came in for a performance and interview. first of all, the band is amazing, and they are both GORGEOUS. but, he was talking a lot about whitney, most likely to get people to watch the show, but still! pottsy made a comment saying "i think it's obvious what has happened to our band if all you're asking about is the show." and jay was asked who his celeb prom date would be and he said WHITNEY! too cute. they have the sexiest accents and are so sweet and hot and EEE! hahahahahh! it was so cool meeting them, though!

i think that they were just rumors nothing was confirmed.

They're were pictures of her and Rob together and kissing. But it was probably just a rebound.

But I also read a report recently about Jay and Whitney being "cozy" (whatever that means). I really hope she isn't back with Jay though. He's such a tool. Whit can do so much better.

And its being reported that she's no longer with DvF and that she's back with People's Revolution. So I have no idea what to expect with the next season.

okay so i'm definitely not one of a 'the city' addict, but i've just seen this episode (season 1 ep 11 I guess) with olivia-whitney situation about choosing jessica alba's outfit for a cover of elle and my question is whether people in this industry are really so bitchy or is it just a useless drama added to the show?

i mean, i'm not really accustomed with 'real' people working in fashion, but this was just way out of line to do such things

/and if the topic was discussed earlier, i'm sorry, it's just my curiosity/

READYING FOR A CLOSE UP: Elle is back in the television game after the cancellation of the short-lived and much-derided “Stylista” on CW and divorcing from “Project Runway” following the show’s fifth season. Now the magazine is set to play a supporting role in the MTV scripted reality drama, “The City.” As the New York Post reported last week, “The City” cast member Olivia Palermo has taken a job at Elle in its publicity department. An Elle spokeswoman could not comment on the hire; neither the producer of “The City” Adam Divello nor an MTV spokesperson responded to a request for comment. But sources close to the reality show say season two has already started filming about town, and that camera crews will infiltrate Elle’s offices next week. “They even repainted the reception area,” said one source, presumably so the offices look as sleek as possible on camera.

Elle has been eager to pursue more brand extensions in television and film — it hired Creative Artists Agency and has made cameos in “Ugly Betty.” Let’s hope it has better luck with “The City” than it did with “Stylista.”

i LOVE the city!
the drama, the clothes, the music!
'on top of the world' is the most struttastic song out there! together with 'money honey' by lady gaga of course!

the outfits in this show are so awesome and there are no photos in this forum! does anyone have any photos of the girls' outfits?

I wonder how they're gonna work that now with Olivia at Elle and Whitney at DVF??

Interesting...... :innocent:

i guess Olivia being at Elle doesn't really make much of a difference seeing as they didnt work at DVF in the first place.

jay and the other guy on the show should leave it, they are not at all interesting. They should put Allie in their place and make a show more like the hills, about fashion, friendship , etc. The show is just plain right now, not interesting at all.

ohnonono - there has to be some guys too! so us guys can identify ourselves with someone... and Jay is kindda cool albeit being a shady cheater :p
