Can someone explain how you get the Vogue behind the picture? Is this something that can only be done on Photoshop? I have Paint and some program that Microsoft provides...Picture It. :flower:

You have to use layers. Once you have your background picture, create a new layer and put the VOGUE logo on it. That way, when you erase part of the logo, the background picture isn't affected, and it creates the effect of the logo being behind the picture :flower:

Not sure what programs use layers beside Photoshop, though

Picture has layers as well..I'll try that...it's all so confusing, but I'm getting the hang of it. ^_^ Thanks!

Please do not post such large cover images...such as #601...upload them to an image host & then post as a thumbnail...not everyone has the same internet speed & for some the larger images take a long time to download.

Thank You:flower:

Could someone clarify the Hollywood ENDING thing? Obviously I get the Hollywood part, but seeing the covers that have been posted so far, I don't really get what the exact theme is

Oh sure no problem. I think that the ending part can be interpreted in many ways - I wanted to leave it sort of open to see what everyone comes up with. It can be an ending ala a typical Hollywood happy ending or it can be an ending ala something much darker and seedier. The most important thing I would think is capturing some sense of Hollywood - either via the old fashioned glamour or modern day LA and its scene.

I love all the various interpretations thus far. This is going to be a very interesting round!

okay I'm stupid I know but I am 100% sure that I'm going to use this cover and not the previous ones, a moderator can delete those:
