the end of distressed jeans

I agree with the distressing stuff but I like my bootcuts. My favourite are straight legged, fitting jeans with a medium low/high rise.

I have liked distressed in the past, because it gave a more casual, unrefined element to the dressed-up way I usually dress. but in the last year or so, I've felt it looked tired and I've been sticking to darker, more subtle washes.
