omg...mtv just SUCKS...

it's all a bunch of half naked girls shaking their *** around a bunch of guys showing off their "bling" and their rented cars with "rims spinnin."

i long for the videos of R.E.M., Depeche Mode, Duranduran, Bjork...people with some creativity. you've got a few folks out there doing interesting stuff (michael gondry comes to mind...) but for the most part, it's all the same.

even when there are decent videos...they don't play them...it's all that trl crap...

waiting for the new Nine Inch Nails album :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

NIN always have great videos...wonder of mark romanek will still do one for trent now that he's gone on to directing films...that would be amazing...all his stuff rocks...

Can anyone identify the song in Home Alone 2 when Kevin just gets to New York and he explores it and he's on the statue of liberty and stuff? It's a Christmas song I think...but my knowledge of Christmas songs is not very...er, advanced.

Thanks for any help :flower:

for those who like Cardigans, this album might be good since it's produced by Tore Johansson.

when John Lurie was invited as a special guest model at Yohji and CDG joint runway show in 1991, he got into a fight with Yohji. that's all.

Thank you for that tip runner, the Cardigans are possibly my favourite group. (Depends mostly on my mood though...)
Here's a random Jane Birkin cover that I thought was cool. B)

Fishing With John

Video Description
John Lurie knows absolutely nothing about fishing, but that doesn't stop him from undertaking the adventure of a lifetime on Fishing With John. Traveling with his special guests to the most exotic and dangerous places on earth, John Lurie battles sharks with Jim Jarmusch off the tip of Long Island, goes ice fishing with Willem Dafoe at Maine's northernmost point, braves the Costa Rican jungle with Matt Dillon, takes Tom Waits to Jamaica, and searches for the elusive giant squid with Dennis Hopper in Thailand.
