That is good to hear you would do that(if it looks right...)... because now we are talking aesthetics... and not what is normal or expected for the sexes...
... and this just shows us, once agian, that people has different aesthetics that they relate to... I wouldn't find a "bush" nasty at all nor would I find the "bare".. because isn't quite obscure to talk about just a tiny part of our being without relating it to other parts... it all depends of the person.. and not if it's shaven , trimmed or what ever it is... for me atleast...:flower:
... and for the Gucci G... don't ask me:lol:
Some guys shave to make their "bro" look bigger or taller...

I hope I don't get banned from tfs for even talking like this, but...

FYI guys, the way your "bro" looks really isn't all that important, I know very few women who find it visually attractive to begin with, it's all about how it feels

but then again, I can't speak for mens' tastes in other men...

 you should wash your mouth with soap young lady...;) ....

yes ofcourse it's also about how it feels(for either sex..), but can we really exclude the sense of sight here?...

i like to trim, but how do you keep it soft? the trimming makes it go rough feeling  :(

Usually it works best if you use shaving cream lightly or maybe even bath oil. Also make sure that you're somewhere warm in the shower. Never try to dry-shave it.

^ Ouch! Just thinking of dry shaving that area scares me!

I shave... just where the hais comes out of the panties I wax, painful but it's woth it....

I've never waxed but Brazilian would be better because all the hair is coming off-unless you want to trim every few days.

Tweezing doesn't hurt. This is what I do. I shave down there then wait 2 to 3 days to let some of the hair grow back. Then I just pluck pluck pluck. If you were to pluck down there if your hair was long/normal length, then yeah, it would hurt. But if the hair is short, then you shouldn't feel any pain. It's bearable and the only catch to this whole thing is that you have to be patient. If you have a lot of hair down there, be prepared to spent 1 to 2 hours, otherwise, it shouldn't take that long.

I get trimmed, it's not like a jungle down there, but it still has to be navigable. I like straight lines so I get waxed...I expect the same, I dont like shaved, it's soo...prepubescent, I find that really unattractive.

Everyone should trim, unless yours is perfectly formed, but everyone Ive encountered has had a few stray hairs.

i really dont care either way. sometimes my girl trims, sometimes she shaves the lips, sometimes she lets that sh*t grow. and you know what? when its important(in other peoples eyes) i dont even notice the hair. its just an outline for what really matters. myself, ive shaved it bald, trimmed, grown for years. its all good. of course, im not trying to impress or make anything look bigger. wouldnt want to scare anyone anyways.

this thread always reminds me of a dare involving my "hair down there."

a friend had challenged me to shave my pubic area into a heart using special pubic stencils. . .

me, being the naive teenager, did it. and with perfect precision,
but the stencil was EXTREMELY small.
thus making the tiny haired heart no bigger than a quarter.

it took so long to grow back. . .

needless to say, i no longer shave too much. trimming the shrubs is almost always a better choice than whacking the weeds completely.

Omgish this is so embarassing but yet I'm proud at the same time for saving money and an embarassing trip to LA from the OC. I did my OWN Brazillian wax with a 5 step kit of Austraillian hard wax and it was wonderful. I'm completely bare and it didn't hurt THAT much.

How much DOES it cost to get a professional waxing? Does anybody recommend the do-it-yourself kits?

^waxing can cost a huge range depending on the class of the salon. Like a bikini wax is usually around $20 at a mid-range place, more if it's brazilian, whole leg can be anywhere from $50-$100. But super nice places are way more than that, and you can find cheaper at places like all the actual brasilian salons in boston.

^ Good info. I'm thinking of going low-class for my bikini area... hope that's not a mistake. :) I just don't have the spare cash to be spending on that type of "treat" grooming. :(
