Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie's, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga'Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie's. The film is based on the first three books in the series.

Sorry about the title, it's a bit messy.

I just saw this movie today and I really liked it...the owls looked so soft ^_^

Every time I think of this movie...I think of Hedwig. :(

I really want to see it. I heard it was good.

I already watched it!! It's pretty good but lacks something. Some kind of element that would have propelled the movie to be great! I love the CGI, though. It's quite realistic.

Yeah I agree with you, it does lack something and I think it has something to do with the story. Maybe they made the movie too short, because sometimes I felt that things were happening way too fast. Like you don't have the time to get scared before the hero wins and it's all over.
Even so I still kinda loved it:D I mean, owls
