The Lingerie Thread

Does anyone else like Agent Provocateur? I have a few bras from them.

Love it!

Do bras without any underwire offer sufficient support? I don't like wearing padded bras, but I've never worn one without an underwire.
I find bras without an underwire a lot more comfortable, for obvious reasons. Of course, if you have large breasts you may need the underwire for extra support.
I tried them and now i find it hard to go back to wearing padded bras or ones that have underwire. It's almost as wearing a bikini top.

Some examples,

The pictures are from this local brand called Amor Latino, I know this is not available for most of you, but i wanted to share it anyways. They have the most cute pieces. I'm a bit addicted, i may own all the stuff they have on the store :ninja:

I am a DD and I want to find a non padded non underwire bra that I can just wear around for comfort and because I think they are so cute any suggestions that are not to expensive. I am just dyeing for something lacy and girly. I usually buy Victoria Secret because they have the best bra cup/band variations. I have some cute bras but none without underwire or padding.

^ What I wear for comfort is a Sleepbra ... they are cute to a point :p The kind I wear has a keyhole in the front. No padding, no underwire. I buy a local brand, am not seeing them online ...

Thank you all, I just bought my first underwireless bra from Oysho. I don't understand American sizing (DD and whatnot), so I was a bit confused by the advice on this thread. But the bra was available in my size (75b) so I assume it is suitable for me to wear one.

^ If it's not, your mirror will tell you ;)

I didn't realize sizing was so different ... is the b in your size the same as the B in ours, or no? Can anyone speak to this?

^ I just found this bra size converter. Btw, I wrote 75b with a capital B initially, but for some reason it appeared as a smug smiley face wearing sunglasses. It was disarmingly skeevy, seeing as this is a lingerie thread and all:D

I am annoyed I had my bra measured by bravissimo and apparantly I am a 28DD. I can't find any nice bras in this size to try and my boyfriend is annoyed as Agent Provocateur don't do it!

^ Check out The Curvy Thread ... I think we've had a discussion of hard to find sizes there. Good luck! Maybe you can also ask if anyone knows where to have them custom made? I know there's a place in Paris, but it's also very $$$ ...

Belowen -

I know i am two months too late but what you bought is GORGEOUS! May I ask what you paid, if you can remember? :flower:

I used to buy pretty lingerie more in high school than any other time. Now I find that to be kind of funny. Long silk nightgowns and pretty bras... why did that go away? Maybe because I was wearing it for myself more than any person.

The Collette Dinnigan/Wild Hearts collection? Those pieces were $30 AUD each ^_^

i'm looking for this lingerie set. do you know who makes it? or where i can buy? or something very similar?

i like how narrow and tiny the bottom is, and the bra has 2 horizontal straps in the back. very cute!

Did anybody purchase any of the items from Victoria's Secret's recent Designer Collection? Some of the garters by Pleasure State for Victoria's Secret were nice. ;)

^ I didn't try anything from that collection, but I do have some Pleasure State pieces that are simply beautiful
