well, since I quit my job I can't afford myself expensive clothes anyway.

I am sure I'm not the only one who loves peeking into other people's wardrobes and I am fascinated to know what is it what makes us, normal people, fork out a LOT of money for something fashion..

So, I am interested to know what have you spent the most money on, how often do you wear it and after owning it for a while, do you think its price was justified?

The most expensive item I have bought is a Gucci Boston handbag which at the time cost me £340. I bought it from gucci.com about 4 years ago and I still love it as much as I did on the day I held it in my hands for the first time. It still looks like new from the outside, so I can definitely say that it was worth the investment!

my most expensive item is an alexander wang leather motorcycle vest. the original price was $1,295. i purchased it for almost 70% off. it was still mega expensive.

actually i have not worn it yet. but the quality is incredible.

its definitely an item that has a "wow factor".

i dont believe in paying full price for anything (unless its a helluva item).

i have many other designer items but i have not paid anywhere near as much for them.

My brother was very kind and bought me a pair of black Prada platforms for my 17th birthday ! They were £400. I love them to bits but they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever come across, even when sitting down, the pain is unbelievable!
The most expensive item I've bought would be Vivienne Westwood shoes at £130!

One of the most amounts of money I have spent was £120/30 on a Jasmine De Milo dress. It was down from around £600 if I remember right.

But I HATE the way they have styled it with the long sleeved top underneath, it does not do it justice. It had beautiful bugle beading on the cups and a lazercut style velvet body. So beautiful!

However it has always been too big so I have to pin it

My boyfriend spends waaay more money than me on clothes. He is obsessed and the amount he spends is craaaazy!

My Chanel Bag! Looks sort of like this but it's not two-tone. I've had it for years, but they never go out of style, of course... I think I paid only about $1000.-- back then (late 80s, early 90s). They go for about double now.
