Okay she spoke like this....

"I'm deloyted to present this awode to An-tony Hopekins."

LOL... however I think that is the right way to pronounce his name, she's worked with him so she should know.

The list of designers worn are:

Charlize Theron - Dior couture
Eva Longoria - Bob Mackie
Evangeline Lilly - Elie Saab
Kate Beckinsale - Dolce&Gabbana (I'm sure it's D&G even though the article says Dior)
Geena Davis: Escada
Gwyneth Paltrow - Balenciaga
Hilary Swank - Jean Yu
Keira Knightley - Valentino
Maria Bello - Elie Saab
Natalie Portman - vintage Chanel (some people on the board said Balenciaga so I"m not sure)
Rachel Weisz - Donna Karan
Reese Witherspoon - vintage Chanel couture
Sandra Oh - Nina Ricci
Sarah Jessica Parker - Rochas
Scarlett Johansson - Valentino
Teri Hatcher - Versace
Ziyi Zhang - Giorgio Armani

What. That's doesn't even look british to me

I know, it looks like someone trying to impersonate a British accent, which is what Gwyneth was doing, which is what I am trying to convey.

I wasn't implying that Ryan NEEDS attention or is less successful or anything. I just think he's acting drunk and crazy. I'm making NO comment about his career, no need to defend him..

don't worry i don't think anyone took it like that...at least i didn't think you were saying anything about his career:flower:

How do you all feel about Golden Globe girl- Melanie Griffith's daughter?? I think she totally lacks any grace and poise, basically the only thing you need to fill that position....

When she was on E! she sounded normal like her voice was since we first heard it in Flesh & Bone well to me. Half the time I don't hear Madonna talking with her so called British accent. I guess you just get use to it.

We have to wait until tonight here in Aus. how did Gwyneth pronounce it? I'm wondering...........

she just stumbled, like she couldn't remember it or couldn't quite get it off her tongue and isaac had to help her. it wasn't a big deal, but surprised me since I thought balenciaga was one of her fave designers and she's so proficent at foreign languages. I assumed it was a pregnancy induced mind blip -- when I was pregnant I would sometimes lose my thought mid-sentence!

Finally more pictures!
