ME TOO! I have a feeling that he will be playing Xenophilius Lovegood, but he is totally convincible as Rufus Scrimgeour as well.

The Harry Potter series has casted almost all the most awesome British actors in playing the adult characters! My only complaint is that they are so much older than their characters... As much as I love Alan Rickman, he is 63 now and playing a 30 something man (not that I mind that part). The victims are really James and Lily (senior, not the creepy offspring named after a couple produced by a couple of replica of the parents), aren't they supposed to be 21 when they died? Why does James look like Bob Saget?



On a side note, is shipping discussion allowed here? TFS seems to be the only place I visit not flooded by rampant shippers comments.

I can see Bill as Albus Dumbledore's brother! The other Dumbledore! Whose name I cannot remember! It beings with an A though!

I think tfs is a nice casual place to discuss harry potter, which works because sites actually dedicated to HP get way too carried away with shipping. But it is allowed.

I could definitely see him playing Aberforth.

But whatever character he plays Bill Nighy is a great addition.

so whom could Bill play?! maybe the minister is back in the script?!

I thought Scrimgeour was described as looking like a grizzled lion.

Bill Nighy doesn't have that grizzled lion look.

I never saw Scrimgeour as a goodie too. I'd say he's in between. He's not on Voldie's side, but he ain't on Harry's side either.

I can't believe it's only two weeks away!! The posters, commercials, etc are getting me SO excited. I was at a mall today and the parking lot had MASSIVE posters on every level and banners hanging from all the light posts - it was amazing! My inner fangirl was going a little crazy

Whew! I'm glad to see that HP is being promoted. For some reason, the promotion of Half-Blood-Prince is rather quiet this time around. I don't hear much about it. Maybe it's because gossip sites are flooded with RPattz and Twilight-related posts. ><
