PonyShow posted this photo in the 1960s fashion thread, and my first thought upon seeing it was how the outfit looked like it came straight from the Balenciaga spring 2008 show. The large shoulders, exaggerated hips, and knee-high boots are looks that were all present in the collection, but what's really amazing is that the original outfit is over 40 years old!

The funny thing is that the Gucci one is an exact copy of this one Cavalli showed back in 2005, they both have deep cutouts in the back. The only difference is that the Cavalli one is embroidered with sequins and the Gucci one is embroidered with bugle beads. Other than that they're identical.
