^^I see it, it's not the actually items but moreso the styling.

when i saw the proenza show and the dress i think instantly about the versace dress wear by abbey... ahahaha

It's not an outfit but the color of the nails used for Marc Jacobs F/W10 collection reminds me a lot to the color used for Chanel S/S10 show (Vernis 507 Particulière).

"It took about five hours to come up with the colors," admitted Creative Nail Design's Elisa Ferri. "I've never worked with a designer who is as hands-on as him. He would say, 'can I add a drop of yellow? A drop of purple?' He has a perfect eye for color... That's why Marc is who he is!" As the colors, sadly, were custom-created, they're not on store shelves (yet). But I got the scoop on how to mix the polishes at home, using CND colors

BAH HAHAHAHAHA at first I thought the nails were such a tiny detail it shouldn't matter, but then that quote where they claim to spend 5 hours only to come up with a color that's exactly the same as Chanel's is pretty funny

^^if any of you followed mr Duffy the days previous to the show on twitter, he said they spent almost two days (not entire days of course, but many many hours anyway) to decide on a color. after that, marc decided that most looks would have gloves on

valentino haute couture fall09 and alexander mcqueen spring 2007

the top of the valentino dress (seethrough part) and the embroidery + the visible corsetry underneath that was in many looks from the mcqueen collection.

^No you're not the only one who saw the similarity Mackos. I also instantly remembered Prada when I saw the Burberry outfit.
But I'm not gonna point the finger because Bailey's design is much more classic, while Prada's is a bit stranger.
