Lately I really like this short haircut with bangs. I think it will have a big comeback soon. But I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't look good on me and that makes me really sad.... :(

But isn't this hairstyle totally cute and sexy?????? Please post more pictures!

Oh I forgot ... got mine from google.com

google is a search machine - I'm afraid you can't use that as credit - the main site where you got the pictures from is the site you need to credit :flower:

edited : I right-clicked on the images you hotlinked and I can tell that you got them from the following sites : crie-le.hautetfort.com, estadao.com.br and sinnerstyle.com - that is what you need to add for future reference :flower:

I experienced that the shorter my hair gets the more time I have to spend making it look good.

Right now I got really long hair - it's soeasy I just wash it and I can let it dry by itself, it will look good.

Back in the days of short hair I had to blow-dry it, use all kind of weird brushes to make it turn the right way and put so much mousse and gel in it - it was insane!

I think especially if your hair is thick and wavey this haircut is not the best for you. Unless your willing to spend a lot of time fighting with your hair :p

My piece of advice: Unless you're willing to spend a lot of your time on your hair don't get this hairstyle. I've tried it and most of times I just ended up looking horrific. It needs too much effort. Unless of course your hair is super super straight.

I have the feeling (I mean, I don't know for sure having never had this hairstyle nor knowing anything about hair) that a cut like that would only suit a super symmetrical, angular, 'perfect' face like Uma Thurman's or Natalie Portman's or any of the models featured. So many blunt, strong lines like that would probably really bring out the flaws in your face ... I mean, maybe I'm out of my mind but I think Uma's face looks really, really different in Pulp Fiction than it does with blonde hair and a softer cut in everyday life. Does anybody get what I'm saying at all ...?

I totally get it. I would never get this haircut, because I just don't have that "perfect model face". Too bad though, because I adore it!!!!

Sounds crazy, but how bout a wig? Catherine Zeta-Jones looks like she's wearing a wig in Chicago (she always has really long hair)... And is Uma is wearing a wig for pulp fiction? :)

Uma is indeed wearing a wig, it's supposed to be inspired by Anna Karina in Vivre Sa Vie, because Tarantino loves Jean Luc Godard:

Hmmm -I think a wig is the only way to go. I have just bought Helmut Newton's 'A Gun For Hire' and Mariacarla et al look awesome with their blunt cuts but I suspect that they are fake...

This is so funny, just last week i cut off all my long hair to get exactly the Natalie-Portman-In-Closer-Bob ;) (i even brought that very picture to the hairdresser)
But i already had this cut before around this time last year.

i actually find this to be the easiest "good-looking-hairdo" for my kind of hair!
My hair is really straight, so i only have to blow-dry it quickly after washing and that's it. I got so sick of my long hair, this lenght is just so refreshing!

This is actually really true! But i find the difference to be in the way Natalie wears this cut and Uma wears it. Uma wears it symmetrical, kind of geometric, which does indeed underline symmetry and all, whereas Natalie wears it slightly messy, which makes the hair immediately look .. more, errm.. girly. After having that very cut the second time, i also only wore it like Uma for say, pictures, or something. It gets messy automatically as soon as you go out anyway! :) ...therefore i'd say go for it, hehe.
