9 hours here, let's pass out together. *zombie*

Loved the ceremony.. and Kate's dress, very appropriate but still beautiful.

And I think I might've just developed a crush on Harry.

lol i am willing myself to at least stay awake for the kiss.

Do we know for sure she didn't have a make-up artist? I certainly haven't heard she didn't. I find it hard to believe she didn't.

She had six, I repeat SIX people for her hair alone. There's no way she didn't have a team of make up people.

I thought the make up was flawless for the look they were going for, which was a clean natural palette.

Kate MIddleton was married to Prince William today in a white gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. According to a release from Clarence House:

“The lace applique for the bodice and skirt was handmade by the Royal School of Needlework, with individual flowers hand-cut from lace (in shapes of roses, thistle, daffodils and shamrocks). The dress is made of ivory and white satin gazar with a skirt in the shape of an opening flower. The satin bodice, narrowed at the waist and padded at the hips in a McQueen signature, is based on Victorian corsetry. The back is finished with 58 gazar and organza covered buttons.

The veil, made of ivory silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers, is held in place by a 1936 Cartier tiara, lent to Ms. Middleton by the Queen. (It was bought for her mother by the Duke of York and presented to Queen Elizabeth on her 18th birthday.) Ms. Middleton’s earrings—shaped like oak leaves with a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the center—are by Robinson Pelham. The shoes are also by McQueen.”

On NBC they were saying the dress looked similar to Grace Kelly's

Have you seen the children?! How cute were they???:heart::heart:

I also liked the fact that there was only 6 children, all done in very good taste!!!

I'm pretty much in the exact same time zone as the UK and to be honest, I'm ready to move on to something else. But I just have to see the kiss after that I'm out.

hahaha:lol: I just prepared a vegetarian tarte and put it in the oven...after the ceremony and now I'm back to see the kiss ;)

Even the police moving the crowds into place on the mall and round the memorial is perfectly choreographed! bah we're good at this in the UK!

Oooh, I like that. Is that to represent Ireland (shamrocks), England (roses), Scotland (thistle) and I guess daffodils represent Wales? Or have I got it wrong and Wales' flower is the thistle. Can't remember.

Such a lovely dress though. Sarah Burton did a great job. And Kate looked fantastic! (Does she spell it with a K if her full name starts with C?). All in all it was very nice. :)

On Wednesday one of the TV stations had a show (which was no more than former employees speculating on what they thought the wedding would be like) but one wedding dress designer they contacted said she thought Kate would have a train even longer than Diana's. Who ever that designer was she was so stupid, of course Kate wouldn't do that - and the length she did choose was just perfect! Gorgeous dress!

I couldn't stop the tears through the whole thing. Been watching since 7 am. She looked absolutely stunning and perfect for the ocassion. The minute I saw her dress thought of Grace Kelly's too. Normally not a fan of her style but I think she did outstandingly for this very special day.
