update on the aritzia order...
which was delayed and finally arrived...

that jacket is crazy good!
i thought it was more of a blazer but it is really a short coat...
eeyore, i know you said the quality was good, but it far surpassed my expectations...
yay~!


the shirt is as light as a feather...so sexy...


*oh- and the aritzia packaging is so nice i can hardly believe it!

yep, i like it better belted...
sleeves are long so i will have to roll them up- then the lining shows...

i had to take a 10 yr old shopping so i was in an area of town where i never go and in one of the biggest uniqlos in the city and came across a couple of crazy sale items so i got them...

*i saw one from junya a couple seasons ago and have been kicking myself for not getting it, so this is something i am really excited about- plus, it was practically free...

yeah- i wasn't sure about it at first, but i'm glad i got it...
it's a good basic...

btw- i wore the aritzia coat today and ...it IS really warm!
and the deep navy looks great with the olive cashmere scarf and my yohji military cap...
ah- i love it when a plan comes together!

The other pair of adidas springblades that I bought last september broke too, so I exchanged 'em for the boots.... The pumas were on sale (total impulse buy).

i do think you may have to grow some extra limbs to accommodate your ever growing collection!

The springblades have a flex joint just behind the ball of the foot.... It's a design flaw: the glue cannot hold the blade to the bottom of the shoe after the flex joint is bent a few times. I bought two pairs last September. The first pair I exchanged in December after wearing them sporadically for a little over two months. The second pair only lasted three days (I never wore 'em until recently).

if you zoom twice you can see the texture of the ribbon that it is made from...
makes it look very expensive...
and because it is synthetic, it is extremely moldable so you can frame your face in the most flattering way for you personally...
it's ridiculously good...!
*funny note- the price in store is higher than on the site, but with shipping, it's still cheaper to buy in store...

to be honest...these kinds are some of my fave finds...
the ones that are accomplished by very good design at very little cost...
impressive to me...


looking forward to wearing this with a summer dress...

Italian leather! yay, my first pair of designer shoes. They're the most expensive pair I've ever invested in. looking forward to wearing them to work with skirts when the weather warms up a bit.
