went to Loehmann's today with a friend 45 minutes before I had to go to class (we actually left more time but there was lots of traffic)...

~classic medium blue Earl Jeans for 20 bucks (they dip quite a bit in the back when I sit, so I'm trying to wear them with just longer tops and also with lacy boy-cut panties as I am so not a show-my-g-string girl...but for 20 bucks I could not pass them up)
~white pink and tan vertical striped long-sleeved button down shirt with cowboy-inspired pearlized snaps and cut (by some brand I have never heard of called Nikkie's Threads)
~red lacy boycut undies (my new underwear obsession), from some random brand, Van Mar
~impulse buy small box of Jelly Belly jellybeans to send to my boyfriend

I am pretty damned broke now and my friend's 21st is coming up so I have that as an upcoming expense as well.

I think I have been shopping a lot lately to distract me from the mounting piles of stuff I have to do or have been putting off for too long.

bought the most amazing top today while in cannes
i arrived 20 mins before shop was closing.
saw it in the window display, went in, tried it (which is rare for me ) and bought it.

its by LM LULU, a french label that makes great stuff like big designers but for smaller prices.
khaki green bustier, empire waist then flowy.
you can slightly see my belly button between the layered chiffon..
i love it


i am trying to convince myself that it was an excellent buy, can you tell??!!!

Is really that much?
I wasn't trying to one up anyone!!Nor to impress.I drank a little much that night (Hence the delayed reaction.) I feel guilty about it sometimes but it doesn't stop me from thinking about it (constantly) or doing it.That post was really tacky,Someone requested photo's.What would you like too see?I have gotten a few more things this week,Nothing as substantial as that list.I still haven't gotten some of the items in the delivered.
Its weird because everyone I know thinks Im a label we***e.I guess I am.I didn't really think about because you have to remember it is the beginning of the season and you have to get while the gettins good. Or at the end because everything is on sale.I hate not getting something I want,That's even worse because I REALLY obsess about that!!
Im trying to be better.
I NEVER have any money left after I go shopping.Its like spending it absolves me of any responsibility.
I can remember it first manifesting itself at 15.I had to buy something new everyday or,I don't know I didn't exist.Them I would buy atleast 3-7 mags a day.Then I moved to make up( Im a guy) and had drawer after drawer of it.I don't even wear make up.
Now if I REALLY love something I must have two of them.I am a Libra,I think its a balance thing.
I used to buy modern furniture thinking it would be smarter to spend $500. on a chair or lamp instead of a pair of pants.Now all the chairs,tables,any surface really is piled up with clothes.
I wont be listing this weeks purchases.

Oh, please do! Your lists ward off any chance for guilt of my own. (I never quite make it to remorse really... luckily, I suppose. ). Plus it's fun to live vicariously. I didn't catch you one-upping or think your list was tacky. (Maybe for the selfish reasons just listed? UGH! )

#1 I'm already aware of it: I have a super-power...
"the ability of spending obscene amounts of cash in nano-seconds" and I know my powers are so great, that God punished me by makin' me a pennyless wannabe ... I feel totally misplaced!

#2 Last Friday, me and my friend were looking for some sandals cuz we were going to the beach ... her car was on the shop, but it didn't stop us from goin' like to 20 different stores downtown ... rain started to pour, it suddenly became a monsoon... and WE went to another shop (totally soaked!) ... then we found out we were fashion victims.
#3 I have this compulsive-shopping episodes ... I buy a lot os stuff and I feel guilty when I get home cuz my mum is gonna give me this look, so I buy stuff for her -my bro's sometimes- and BRING dinner!

I love those t-strap shoes, I'm seeing them on well dressed women all over town. I wonder if payless is carrying them yet?

I'm dying to pick up some Michael Kors perfume at Sephora. But I've promised myself to wait until I finish a bottle of another perfume first. Sigh...

I've also decided that I need more skirts in my life. I usually end up dressing in trousers or jeans because I'm so much more comfortable in them but dresses and skirts are so nice and feminine in the summer!
