lucky, you asked about the details on the skirt...it's actually very skinny strips of canvas striped with black that are stitched on...here's a detail shot.

i've been looking for a little hat for a while (it's winter here now) and just thought this one was so cute and a bit different. and i couldn't resist this top either.

caroulemapoule, great deal on the leather dress, I like the fact its not a super snug fit...IMO, sometimes leather is at its best when its not stretched tightly on the body...

laika, how pretty, reminds me of summer weight navy threads for some reason. I guess with the lightweight cotton fabric of the skirt and the trim its a "sailing" theme.

whizkit, the frames are wonderful, any change we can see a picture worn?

It's a bit silly actually, the shape of the frames are almost exactly the same as my old ones. I just got mesmerized by the wood texture and bought it in a moment of folly. Will appear in What Are You Wearing Today soon enough, if anyone could tell the difference at all from a distance.
