The Sounds are an upbeat rock 'n roll band from Sweden with an energetic female vocalist.

They are fronted by Maja (pronounced "Mya") Ivarsson and backed by Felix Rodriquez, Fredrik Nilsson, Jesper Anderberg and Johan Bengtsson.

Oh, I love this band! I've been a fan since their US debut, Living in America. It's a lot different from Dying to Say This to You, at least at first, which isn't really as upbeat since it focuses much more on love.

Is Felix the one on the far left? He's very good-looking.

Their songs sound too much alike, I felt like listening to the same song through the whole album...



BUT, I love these songs, 'cause they stood out from the other tracks: "Night After Night"(Alternative Version, I think the piano version is a comedy), "Tony The Beat", and "Don't Want To Hurt You".

So glad that someone posted a thread about this band. Great. Really understated and amazing. I'm sorry but Queen of Apology is one of my favorite songs of all time. I got the CD in March and its already one of my Top 5 in the Top 25 of my iTunes.

Plus I think Maja is beautiful

Question though. The version of Tony The Beat that I have from the CD itself is a little bit different, especially in the opening and intro from the version that is played in the video. Am I missing something? Still much karma Fugfashion!

AHhhh they are truly amazing and definitely know how to throw THE BEST CONCERTS!!! they were in LA at the Wiltern and I got the chance to see them waaaaayyy up front All I can say is, AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!

Felix was sooo sweet and gave me a kiss on the cheek
Felix and Jesper are extremely gorgeous!

They do wonders with their talent; can't get enough of them!!

this band will always have a spot on my playlist.
I discovered them when everyone was loving the old Britney Spears, I saw their Hit me video and I swooned!
They were exactly what I needed sinse the spice girls had broken up and I had no interest in miss spears.

i cant really explain my feelings towards this band without sounding like a complete lunatic.
I just love them!

i can't believe no one has given The Sounds love in sooo long! they're like my favorite band...so stylish too! And very friendly! i've had the pleasure of partying with them twice this year and they are all sooo nice! Especially Felix...and homeboy has definetly got some nice movies on the dance floor!
