This thread is to tribute the girls & the beginings of Supermodel height. The 5 models who the term is most used for Cindy,Linda,Christy,Naomi & Claudia started in this decade. They elevated the form and set up the Super rule in the 90's.
And of course girls like Rene Simonson,Paulina, Yasmin, Gail Elliot, Stephanie, Elle Macpherson, Veronica, Karen Alexander, Estelle & Tatjana helped to build the phenom.
The vets like Christie Brinkley, Iman, Kim, Beverly,Carol were ending the height of their respective careers by the mid-80s.B)
The girls who started in this decade have the longest careers,among the highest paid and remembered. It was a time of beauty,class,dreams and confidence.
