Just watched episode 6 online and i personally love this episode! the part where Caroline compelled her mum was really sad

I thought so too, just when they bonded. And also a little cowardly..

"Masquerade" episode summary
Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) decide on a new plan to deal with Katherine (Nina Dobrev) at the Lockwood's masquerade ball. Katherine calls on an old friend, Lucy (guest star Natashia Williams), to attend the ball with her. Bonnie (Katerina Graham), Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Alaric (Matt Davis) all do what they can to help Stefan and Damon, but Katherine has a surprise planned that none of them could foresee. Things take an ugly turn when Matt (Zach Roerig) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) start doing shots with their friends.

OMG OMG OMG!!!

Who watched the last episode?? That was soooo good. Elena was super annoying and I liked Bonnie somewhat a little in this episode. For a moment there I was thinking the other witch was her mum does anyone know if that has been addressed? I LOVED Caroline especially when she lured Katherine into that room and she was all happy that it worked. Damon and Stefan at the beginning of the episode was really good, I wish they would do more brotherly scenes like that. Jeremy and Bonnie seems like it could be interesting but I'm surprised it took the writers that long to hook them up, it just seems like a TV thing to do hook the brother/sister with the best friend.
Gotta admit, I'm gonna miss Katherine but I have a feeling that she may be released from the tomb to help the Scooby gang.

This season is so far kicking last season's *** lol.

Tyler is so effing hot - its so bad that he turned though sigh..

i went a bit nuts that scene when Elena started bleeding spontaneously and i started thinking that they were the same person! that Katherine's "good soul" was taken out of her and put into the new body (Elena) the moment she died and became a vampire.. spell cast by Emily.. Did anyone do the same? cuz they ask constantly in the series, why they look the same.......

OMG! I loved this episode.

-Poor Tyler!
-Go Caroline! I love how she tricked Katherine.
-Lucy rocked too! I got worried for a moment when she told Bonnie that she could trust her and Bonnie handed over the moonstone, but it turned out okay!

I don't trust Catherine being in the tomb + she has the moonstone with her, I don't think she'll be locked up forever.
And Caroline rocks! I hope they never kill her off, I love her as a vampire!
Bonnie was a little better this episode. She wasn't so annoying .
I'm happy Jeremy gets to participate more and doesn't seem like the kid anymore. He's really growing up.

The books never fully explain in detail why Elena and Katherine look alike. It is made out to be more than a coincidence, but no real answer is ever given.

L.J. Smith left the whole thing a mystery and I would personally like to know the answer... Maybe she couldn't figure it out either so she just left it up in the air.

Last nights episode was good, but left me pondering things.

Spoilers:
-Elena is kidnapped by two vampires. They say that they are going to give her to someone named Elijah (one of "The Originals").
-After Stefan and Jeremy put together the pieces, realizing that Elena is gone. Bonnie uses Jeremy's blood to scry for Elena. (It kind of reminded me of an episode of Charmed).
-Bonnie decides to send Elena a message, and does this spell where she wrote a note to Elena, then used a candle and magic to make the note materialize where Elena was. Bonnie gets a nosebleed and passes out after this, but Jeremy is there to take care of her. (I predict that Bonnie and Jeremy will hook up by the end of the season).
-Elijah shows up at the house. He kills Trevor (one of Elena's captors), then tells the female one, Rose, that she is free to go.
-Elijah pulls Elena's vervain necklace off and compells her to tell him where the moonstone is and where Katherine is!
-Damon and Stefan swoop in and rescue Elena (who was a damsel in distresss as usual). They stake Elijah with a table leg and leave him pinned to a wall. (Too bad he didn't die, but they don't know this yet).
-Caroline and Tyler. She knows he is a werewolf. He knows she is a vampire. I like what is going on with them, but I have a feeling that Tyler won't keep his mouth shut.
-Damon comes to return Elena's vervain necklace. He tells Elena he loves her, but he doesn't deserve her, but that his brother Stefan does. He then kisses her on the forehead and compells her to forget what he had just said. Cut to Elena in her room by herself wearing her necklace.
-Also Klaus was mentioned!


Random thought...
-Elena is a Petrova Doppelganger. We already knew this, but it sounds like she isn't the only one. Or there have at least been others through the years. Her blood can break the curse, which "the originals" are interested in doing.

Anyway, I am excited for the next episode. It looks like interesting things are coming!

Anyway, that last episode was crazy but soooo good! So many twists. I love the drama on the show though, every episode is ending in a tear-fest for the actors I want to know who this mysterious Klaus figure is, the way they were leading up to it made me think it was going to be someone close to the Salvatore's (like Stefan's father or something) and then Rose said some random name
Ugh Damon I have no words to express how much I love his self-hating character

im glad theyre bringing in this new storyline.

im sick of the love interests becoming like GG - everyone gets around.. pathetic!

^ right? I loved Caroline with Matt too, and I wanted to see if they were going to add another vampire-human relationship. It would be cute with Caroline as the vampire
Speaking of which, I really dislike this Bonnie and Jeremy thing going on too I miss Anna
