This design is inspired by a mix of Audrey Hephburn and Daphne Guinness it has an open back with ribbon detailing on it the waistband is also held together with ribbons. The dress would be made out of a black taffeta fabric to add stiffness to the gathering at the waistline. This is actually a variation on a dress that I have already made as seen below.
