oh. my bad. grumpiness and expecting the worst from people is common for most estonians. except for Tiiu of course, who I'm sure is very nice.

here she is on the cover of the only girl-magazine in Estonia "Stiina" (from april 2001). i personally loathe the magazine, but hey, you've got to start somewhere and she looks great.

i'm not familiar with "Girlfriend". "Stiina" (actually a popular estonian name now tainted by the existence of this hideousness) tries really hard to be like Cosmogirl but fails miserably. half of the magazine is usually beauty news (its not news anymore when it happened like two months ago), then in every magazine there is this sort of a feature story about someone (like person of the month) the only time it was really worth reading was when they did an interview with Carmen Kass, but usually its about people like some 40 year old balding coach of the national basketball team. Then there are quizzes like "will summer love last" and "10 ways how to get a guy to like you" (i swear its like feminism never happened) and stuff like that, and the other half is just pictures and articles from Cosmogirl and other american or british magazines which are usually quite poorly translated. i dunno maybe i'm exaggerating, because i know i tend to do that, but i really dont like it. But being on the cover of it is quite a big thing because it's the only girl's magazine in Estonia.
