I ordered it finallykissmesweet said:^^ Wow, I've always adored Tim Walker. I really want that book...
That's it. I'm going to the stores today to order it too!I ordered it finally
I think this book was kind of disappointing. It was great introduction of his amazing work and there was very many pics from my favorite eds but then again, it was just portfolio so when I saw ed pic I hoped that I could see all ed not just only one pic or I would make another choice. I hoped also that they would put where magazine those pics are so I could try to find them and get all eds. Overall it was pretty nice book or magazine (it looks like magazine). Maybe I just try to print my favorite eds in black and white or look them my computer (but so small size)Product Description
As a London-based photographer and graduate of Exeter Art College in Oxford, Tim Walker learned from the greats. During an internship at Condé Nast he set up the Cecil Beaton archive. He also worked as Richard Avedon s assistant in New York. Since those days his style has blossomed into something on par with his early inspirations and mentors. His work appears in trend-setting magazines such as Vogue, W and Harper s Bazaar. He has also created advertising campaigns for exclusive clients such as Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto and Barneys. Walker s work mixes hyper real fairytale with a dash of eccentricity. Although elegant, there s nothing stuffy about his work!
