luxmode, you are right there are so many pictures that look like tim walker's but we can hardly post them if it's not sure? i find it pretty weak that they do not credit people's work in all sections.
but it is definitely a good site. i love the comme des garcons ad you posted!!!
i was looking through some old vogues and found more...it's funny how many pictures (like the blumarine ads) i have always cherished before noticing his name...
he really seems to have a thing for women falling or sticking out of windows (like the one luxmode posted before), i often recognized his editorials now when i saw a similar picture..or women carrying aroung trees or sixties' cars etc
i scanned some blumarine ads and two pictures from an ed. with louise pedersen
i just found this on www.toth.com, i guess you were right!
"Kate Spade, an accessory company best known for pricey handbags, is also introducing its fist campaign. Print ads, which were created in-house, were photographed by London-based photographer, Tim Walker. Each photograph was meant to capture a moment that the viewer can interpret. In one ad two brown coats — one a man’s, one a woman’s — hang on a coat rack embracing. A red herringbone handbag hangs over the shoulder of the woman’s coat. Another ad shows just the torso of a woman dressed conservatively in a wool skirt, sweater and overcoat carrying a hot pink handbag. The ads appear in the September issues of publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and Vogue. Billings were estimated just under $1 million."
