Yellow sticker/final clearance time (at least at the stores I went to)! The past few days I've found... Vince jeans $20, alice+olivia pants $20, Walter dress $20, Jill Stuart sunnies $5, Julie Brown top $20, Splendid top $7, etc... I saw a ton of Joes jeans and J brand on clearance, also DVF, Marc Jacobs, Catherine Malandrino, Theory, Missoni, etc. There's also a ton of cute non designer brands on clearance, super cheap, if you need to stock up on summer stuff.

^I've been to the one on Charing Cross road after reading this thread but all the designer bits I found were still quite expensive...do they have a proper clearout of it duringthe sale season as well?does anyone know?

they seem to have less clearance in london i've only been to the one in high st kensington but it's nothing in the sale compared to my one in the south of eng

couturecouture, thanks again for the heads-up on the yellow tag. After I read you post I hopped in my car and drove on up to TJMaxx... and I'm glad I did! I scored, among other things:

A Missoni dotted halter top for $29
A mint green Missoni skirt for $12
A gorgeous Leyendecker top for $10

etc.

^ Wow! Jealous. . . the only Missoni I saw was still $79 and was very dirty. Great finds!!

^ The halter is Missoni Mare and the $12 skirt was M Missoni, though I'm not too familiar with the former?

^ arrggh the closest TJ Maxx is the Charing Cross road one and I feel like whenever I go in there none of the designer pieces are really that discounted. Do they ever make it really cheap there?

^ I went about 2 weeks ago and found a lot of things for $10 and under, nothing super great, but their final final markdowns were all out, I bought a couple of cute tops for $2-$3 and dresses for $5. I don't have a runway section at my local TJ's though, but I always try and stock up at the end of the clearance sales, even if I don't love everything, I cannot resist $2 Tahari tops (that still have the $178 price tag) and $5 calvin klein dresses, I'll somehow find a use for them. I've been back a few times since then and it looked like the final clearance was all gone. I didn't look at the other clearance racks though. (It's hard to pay $20 for the non-final clearance when you see the yellow stickers for so cheap!) I'm not sure if all the stores are on the same clearance schedule . . .

Yellow sticker clearance time at my TJ's! I spent over 2 hours there today. I found a bunch of okay stuff but I found a divine high waisted Red Valentino skirt for around $40. I'd have to get it altered because it's way too big but I just couldn't leave it there. I may put it on ebay.
