TJ Maxx / TK Maxx

Wow...TJ Maxx sounds a lot better than TK Maxx (uk version) - here, they just sell lots and lots of Diesel, FCUK and that's about it.....

definitely nothing high-end.....

wow...i'm so jealous of everyone with good TJ Maxx's!!! i've been in ours about four times just to check and see if they actually have anything good...and everytime, i see that the highest end stuff they have is like...i don't even know. nothing you couldn't find in the mall here. and we have an awful mall (the most expensive store is The Limited). so i just stick to online shopping.

We have TJ Maxx.Sometimes it can be really good or really bad.

my nearest tkmaxx is v.unpredictable
shoes are always amazing.
esp. for irregular choice . .
you can be sure tht whtever you pick up will be random
you will never see anyone w/it
i've got some gd classic basics . . shirts, skirts . .
& the few odd amazing finds
* chloe jackt - £30 ? :heart:

chloe jacket :shock::o:heart::woot:

i've gotten a see by chloe coat--kind of a peacoat i guess.. don't remember how much it was...

I think we're gonna have to start posting pics of our finds...
I'll get my camera out once I finish up with finals :wacko:

I go to the Canadian equivalent, Winners, and I love it :blush: Of course, being in a semi-remote area, we don't get that much high-end stuff, but I did buy Moschino AND MARC JACOBS (not marc by marc :P) scarves ^_^ I'm eyeing a bunch of Lulu Guiness ones too! Bought a few Lulu socks, and quite recently we started getting Dooney & Bourke bags (like, 4 of them). I got the small bucket in Tapestry (I think?)... it's black and creme and says Dooney in big letters.

Anyway, that's all I can think of now. Oh, wait, I bought a pair of Uggs for 12$ hehe. Very handy when it's cold :P

I have a feeling that Winners and TJ/K Maxx is the same company. I remember a few years back, I saw a Winners commercial on a Canadian channel, and then later on a TJ Maxx commercial on the American channel that was the exact same, the only different one had Winners on the bottom, and the other TJ Maxx..

The one near my house seems to not sell anything that interesting, I've never personally found anything I've wanted to buy.

The Winners downtown sells a bit 'better' of things, but still things I wouldnt want. The only difference the things they sell are more expensive, as they end up being D&G and etc

The TJ Maxx where I live never has designer stuff. You guys are so lucky!

Wow, after reading everyone's finds, I want to go visit my TJ Maxx, but every time I've been on there.. I've only seen like outdated super trendy things. :(

my tj maxx doesnt have the best selection, i prefer marshalls for clothes, tj's for bags.

i have bought two pair of earnest sewn jeans, a pair of dark burgundy plastic cynthia rowley aviators, and a pair of dark purple gucci oversized sunglasses.

both sunglasses have been broken or lost or both (good thing i didn't pay retail!), but the jeans still grace my *** every week. the jeans i bought in november maybe, and the sunglasses i bought years ago. i still miss the guccis every day, i think.

my friend works for tjx and tells me when they get cool stuff in , otherwise i never find anything good.

i live a 2 minute drive away from a tjmaxx that just built where i live but the sad thing is that this one doesnt carry satisfactory merchandise

I like TK Maxx, I haven't got anything extroadinary from there but IMo it depends on the individual store, some have cheap tat whereas others seem to get better stock.

the one by me doesn't carry anything special...:( the best i have done there was a pair of Miss Sixty jeans for $20. but after hearing so many success stories i want to go again and really search the store.

bought these gladiator type sandals by rampage the other day for $19 i think
mine were in bronze but here is a pic of them in silver from rampage.com.. they retail on the site for $60 right now.. gotta love the deals at tj maxx :heart:

I went to the TJ Maxx in Rockville, right by my house, ya, there's nothing. Some Ralph Lauren, just plain stuff, polos, tshirts maybe a boring jean here and there...Racks of that Apple Bottoms sh*t, OMG...

Nothing in the bag section...I saw this gorgeous PUPRLE Samsonite hardcore, I have a thing for Samsonite hardcores, if I didnt have a suitcase Id have gotten this one...I loved the fact that it was purple...

Apple Bottoms=yuck :sick: ... who told Nelly it was ok for him to design jeans? :huh:

Hey...I worked there for a year and a half before opening my own online business. Like the topic starter said, there are some CUTE things there, you just have to have the patience to sort through everything. Although I didn't get much of an employee discount, I spent TOO much money there. The problem is, we would get trucks of like 500 boxes in and have to get everything out onto the floor by like noon, thats why it was so cramped. But take my advice, if you have time look through, you wont be dissapointed

oh also...new things come in daily...so if you dont like what they had on tuesday, come in friday and it will be completely different stuff
