TK Max has some fantastic bargains if you are prepared to look through rails upon rails of clothes. I personally enjoy it on a quiet day but not at weekends!

Did anyone pick up much in the yellow sticker thing recently? There wasn't much in our TK Maxx that wasn't knackered or mucky. I picked up a nice Miu Miu jacket for £3 but it's too big on reflection so it'll go.

Last year I found some lovely Valentino dresses (the gold/white label) for about £5. The silk needed some spot cleaning but otherwise fine. This clearance there were nice things like Pucci handbags but in shocking condition. The manager was still adamant that they'd go, even at £99. Hmmm

Wish we had a runway section in ours. There's a good selection of scarves in at the moment and some McQ but not a lot else. Oh I lie, a few Chalayan jackets which are dreamy but far too much. For me anyway.

This was probably the worst yellow sticker clearance my TJ's has ever had... the prices weren't that low and there was hardly anything designer... there were some cute vince sweaters, but they were still $59, and had missing belts, but I didn't see very many $3-$10 nice, cute things like I usually do, and I went to mine every day for 16 or 17 days straight waiting for them to put out more yellow sticker stuff. I did see a Tibi top that was marked down to $20-ish but I didn't care for it.

I also recently read an article (I'll try to find the link and post later) about Burberry allegedly suing TJX corporation for selling fake items?! WOW. I am shocked and hope that TJ's isn't/wasn't selling items they knew were fake. I am so against buying fakes.

Gucci Handbags @ TJ Maxx in Santa Monica...

Visited their new store this past week and they have a new section called The Runway. The section features more designer brands like Prada, Chloe, John Galliano, 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent. Prada and Yves Saint Laurent handbags were fabulous. (see photos)

When you say TJ Maxx in Santa Monica, do you mean more specifically the Marina del Ray location? Unless SM has gotten a TJ Maxx and I don't know about it! Then I must visit!!

I'm in with TK Maxx again.
After looking through racks and racks of clothes and finding nothing, I found these Stella McCartney sunglasses and they fit like a dream There was loads of Lanvin sunglasses too, costing about 30 GBP but none of them looked right on me.

This pair was 19.99 GBP
Too bad the clothing section is very boring in my local store...

the tjmaxx's near me continue to be a little too good...
i try to actually stay away if i can because i somehow end up coming away with loads of goodies that i don't need...
though i do enjoy getting wear out of most of the stuff
i just have a tendency to buy dresses for formal occasions when i don't need them

^ I haven't been in one since May (I think?). I am a TJ's addict and was going there nearly every day (sometimes even twice a day). Eeek. I love that store, but it was seriously killing my finances! Everything is such a great deal it's hard to "not buy" something you want in there!
