Sales time in Tokyo?

What months of the year has the most sales (as in discounts) in Tokyo? Thanks.

Unmetro, don't know if you still wanted the info...most sales are in the beginning of January and July, sometimes a few weeks earlier or later.

well i can officially report that the sales i've been to have been :angryface:
none of the ysl was one sale at isetan shijiku (on the 2nd when the big sales began). lanvin boots were 89 000 yen which converted for me into aussie dollars is more expensive than buying non-sale from barneys.com
marni heels the same.
barneys new york in shinjiku had mostly only barney new york shoes on sale and some balenciaga boots, and jil sander heels. some balenciaga blazers were 30% off the original 3000$Aus + price. the balenciaga pants were 890. waiting for reductions if that will happen!

hey guys you seem to know pretty much about shopping in Tokyo...i wanna get some nice winter coats and some shoes...where should i go...i would love some japanese designer stores...preferably with good prices...also is there any sales coming up before Christmas let me know!
