Tokyo shopping

raphy, just remembered United Arrows Harajuku (mens-kan B1) has a wide selection of vintage pieces.
lots of 1890s-1930s stuff, for example rare "pre A-2" leather jacket etc.
not designer, but interesting

you're welcome faust

im going to japan in april with a friend, and i wanna know if theres any good stores where i can buy vintage designer stuff??

thanks in advance:)

You can try a store call RAG TAG in Shibuya. They have tons of 2nd hand for mens and ladies, from designer to street brands like CdG Homme, Dior Homme, Mastermind, N(N), Bape, UC, Zucca, NBHD...at reasonable price.

I got a pair of brand new Dior Homme gold boots below retail last time I visted in Feburary.

a new store for men is to open at the beginning of autumn in Aoyama/Harajuku area (strictly Jingumae).
you may find a nice selection at the place where confectionery is available now.
they will carry guidi etc.

hi people,

i just read in the hk magazine 'milk' that mastermind JAPAN has (finally) opened its first flagship store in aoyama? anyone can give light on this? and address please? i can't seem to find any information on the net or anywhere else...

Can someone tell me why matermind JAPAN demands such high price tag? I have never seen their clothes in person but everything seems very very expensive (in magazines and website etc.)

i want to know too. i've seen some cashmere from them, and it looked good quality, but it's like Lucien Pillat-Finet (sp?) II - you can't get far on picking quality fabrics alone. Otherwise, yea, I have no idea. It's just a bunch of skull prints, not much design-wise.

Yes it's way overpriced along with brands like Roen and roar. They've become a cult brand for youngsters in Japan like BAPE in the mid 90's.

faust, did you happen to see the cashmere sweater at Destination?

Drawer has Rochas
this is one of United Arrows and corner store in department store called Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi.
