Very true!...which is why the huge u-turn she has done spells 'publicity stunt'. Considering their infatuation with one another, how come they can't remember how they got together?

and I agree with the poster who said just becos they're engaged doesn't make you want to see their respective movies. In fact, far from it. I think this relationship is doing more for Katie Holmes as an actress generally speaking. She is average at best but we all know what wonders dating someone more powerful than you can do. Well, from what I gather it's much much more than a movie premiere. . .

I mean, it's mutually beneficial because Tom Cruise needs a beard and she needs some help with her career. I mean, before this she was only known as 'that chick from Dawson's Creek' but now she's practically an It Girl. Everyone and their Mother now knows her name, and Mr. Tom "I need to re-affirm my extreme heterosexuality every five minutes just to remind everyone that I am in no way attracted to men" Cruise looks like a stud for getting this younger girl.

Personally, I don't think legal contracts have been written up. . .but I do believe Ms. Holmes is getting paid for her services. . .if not in money, then publicity.

I was watching the MTV movie awards and Katie just looked really horrible when she smiled.. argh i never b*tch but just something about her face is horrible..but anyways, im sure she has a wonderful personality.. she was really really giddy and i think that their whole little relationship is genuine, seriously... but it definitely wont last, she wont even make it to the alter, or if she does, she'll be signing divorce papers later, or if not, she'll be depressed and end up looking really ill and anorexic, blaming her loss of weight on the split with Tom.. god.. everything is so predictable in the celebrity world.
