The FHCM should ask those NYFW designers why they keep use the Haute Couture name because it is an insult to french culture! LOL.

They are playing with words. The label « Couture » is not protected like « Haute Couture ».

They are few houses that have the label Haute Couture. Those houses have their ateliers in Paris and present their collections in Paris.

Anybody can have their brand name Couture or even decide to rename their line Couture after being invited on the calendar but in reality the FHCM can’t do anything about that.

Maybe we should rename it because this don’t have the label Haute Couture, much like Pyer Moss or even Balmain when Olivier presented his collection.

But I think in the future, it needs to be mandatory to show in Paris. The pandemic kinda makes it easier for everybody to just insert themselves into the calendar.

Okay, I don't know if it's just me, but I don't like this collection at all. It's quirky but it's not deep and it looks cheap.
